Problem during the fill, rinse and spin cycles -tried a diy solve

Hi, Fern Derham from NZ here. I have a 5.5kg WFL2400 Maxx Eurowasher frontloader. There is a problem during the fill, rinse and spin cycles. I thought there may have been a pump blockage so I went through all of the trouble-shooting suggestions and cleaning care suggestions in the manual (which have worked in the past) but the problem still exists. When the machine is filling, it pumps in some water and stops, pumps and stops, etc. When rinsing, draining or spinning, it pumps out some water and stops, etc. It also is not completing a spin cycle. I have tried each cycle with an empty machine as well as with items. I am so desperate as we have no money and an 8 mth old with terrible reflux and I use cloth nappies so this machine goes constantly. :)

Fern Derham again...Part 2: In addition to above info, I have also checked that the pump impeller can spin and it does, however spin cycle is not completing. The washing rotates as I would expect a wool wash to.

It appears your timer/main controller has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question

Hi i have an LG 5kg Fuzzy logic top loader and it will wash and fill the water but wont rinse or spin it does not beep or anything it just stops and the time displays stays on the same numbers and i can...

Need to check during the wash cycle that the power goes to the motor during the rinse or spin cycle. Try and see if you can manually go to the spin cycle without the fuzzy logic. If so the program controller unit is a suspect as the microprocessor internal memory is faulty and executes the program with error or no output.

My f11 code is repaired! I got a clamp from Home Depot put it on the ccu unit on the right side tightened it shut and haven't got the stinking f11 code ever since. No more banging it again! I can finally do my wash without the horror beeping sound going off every time.

Will not spin on any rinse cycle

Hi, This washer does not have a belt. While the washer is agitating, if you lift the lid will it stop? Some models will agitate but not spin if the lid is up. It sounds to me like the lid switch might be going bad.
If you will get me a model #, I can look this up for you and give you a better idea.

To Reset computer. Unplug for 2 minutes, plug back in, open and close lid 7 times slowly to reset computer. This should solve your problem.

Shutting down on rinse cycle

Hi this could means that you may need to replace the washing machine bearings. Once the bearings are bad, the motor overheats and it will automatically shut down after the first rinse.
