Question about Yamaha RX-V800 Receiver
The Front Display Panel is working. However, the display letters/characters (the letters that change and describe the settings, volume, etc.) are completely scrambled. Thus, I do not know what setting the receiver is in or what it is doing. Also, a the digital display of the volume bar is fully illuminated, but missing a bar or two.
Display Panel Letters are Scrambled. Could this be caused from an
electric shock? Three weeks ago, I hooked up a pair of Klipsch
floorstanding speakers using Monster brand speaker wires. I have been enjoying this receiver for years
w/o any problems.
Could need to be reset. Try unplugging it for a couple of Min's. it may reset itself. If not send me a message and I'll check the service manual for the reset procedure on Monday when I go to that hell they call work.
