How to reset a PCU for a Nashua Aficio CL 3000

sc302 is usually PCU or charge roller.
As you say you have recently replaced the Drum/PCU, is the drum turning correctly?

Check charge connectors and connectors on the back of the pcu. To reset that code, simply turn main power off and on again. If problem comes right back....the machine detects the cause still exists. May be an issue with the HVT.

theres no e5 on aficio 450must be sc542/546 problem with heater try to reset code press yellow
button then 1 0 7 then press red button keep the red button held down 4 secounds then select
copy 1 turn copier off then switch back on

The black PCU sets up color registration, it is not that much. Do yourself a favor and replace. -Carl

The printer is set to display the "replace PCU" message after a set number of copies. The only way to clear the message is to replace the color PCU that the message mentions.

This must be done before drum is replaced.
Resets counter.

Start the SP mode and execute the
New Unit Set:
• PCU: SP5-999-001 ∼ 004

ca 107 c then inter the sp mode then clear error

Laser synchronization error
The main scan synchronization
detector board cannot detect the laser
synchronization signal for more than 5
consecutive 100 ms intervals

When you replaced the pcu you should have taken the 2 waste toner containers and the corona assembly out and put in the new unit. The charger unit is the part that has a telephone like plug on it.

I have run into this several times with these printers. In every case, it has been the CMY PCU. These run about $300.

I have read that by cleaning the PCU, you can get it to work sometimes. So far, I have not been lucky enough for it to work.
