Gigaset 8825 message system won't work

answering machine will not pick up, keep getting "timeout error" and phone just keeps ringing, have tried resetting answering machine info via menu but still doesn't work, how do I get messaging system back on line?

-   timeout issues... as well. I used another phone- seems to be shorting out for incoming calls, but I can call out fine.-   Guest

-   I am having the same problem with the 8825...time out error on screen, then goes blank and answering machine won't pick up. Siemen's offers no troubleshooting advice on the "Time out error"...how do you fix this?-   ssgiammalva

guys- empty out your call log and your mailbox. This timeout and reset isssue seems related to memory- that should do it-
