Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

Open Question

Not Enough Disc Space

I cannot transfer songs to the MP3 player. There are none in there at the present time. I have updated the player to see if I could rectify the problem, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Thanks

How to downloading music on mp3

just follow the step by step process shown down..
  1. switch on the computer and connect your device to the computer through the USB (Universal serial Bus) port(present either at the backside or in the front of cpu or in the side in case of laptops).
  2. you will be able to see the charging symbol in the display screen of the player.
  3. now open the "my computer " screen in the computer and you will be able to see the logo of your player as a removable drive, double click and enter it.
  4. open another screen containing the location of the songs in your computer.
  5. click on the song you want to transfer and right click on it...click copy and go to the screen of the player.
  6. right click on the empty space and click paste.this is the simple way to transfer songs.
  7. you can copy multiple songs to the player by holding either 'shift' or 'ctrl' button while selecting songs, or if you want to transfer all the songs from a folder click on one folder and press "ctrl-A" simultaneously, which selects all of them.
  8. hope its an easy way to understand, if you have any questions please write back to us.

Make sure the files you copied to your player are not HIDDEN files & they are read only properties.Try to reset the player or format using your PC.

Transferring music to my mp3 player

This player is only compatible with a few audio formats. The DRM protection system on most WMA's simply won't work after a time. If you only transfer songs in mp3 format, you will never have such problems.

My disk is empty and when i try to download songs it says i dont have enough disk space

you may have them downloading in the wrong format encryption

check to see what format they are in such as MSC, this will be in your menu. Depending on your exact device will depend how to change it, but change it to the other and if that doesn't help, let me know

Can't get songs on it!

The easier way to place songs onto the device would be to use Sony's software that normally comes with the unit at purchase. Updated versions of Sonic Stage can be found at http://esupport.sony.com/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=NWE105&UpdateType=Updates on Sony's support page. Alternatively, you can use the MP3 transfer program, also on the same page above, to transfer the MP3s to the player. Note, it will transfer them in their original state and not convert them to a smaller size if you need to conserve space.
