Havent used my shaver for a few months. Re charged it over night, now when I switch it on I get a shaver head warning light flashing on and off. Before I used to get a line of green battery indicated lights. It still shaves fine, and I guess I have only used it about 45 - 50 times, dont no how long the rotary blades are suppoed to last? Is there a reset for the shaver head light.
Please advise, thanks

Model 7526 is not a new shaver. It was made about 8 years ago. If no lights illuminate when the power cord is attached, the circuit board is bad. Unfortunately, Braun no longer makes internal parts for this model
If you like this shaver model and want a similar one, you will find one at shaveroutlet.com. This model uses the same shaving head as the 7526

When the shaver head light flashes, this indicates that the heads should be changed. You will need the specific model number written on the shaver to select the correct type heads
Rechargeable batteries can become weakened over time by light use and light charging. Try running the shaver totally flat and then charge the shaver over night. If this gives you back your batteries back their charge then in future run the shaver until flat each time before charging.
When the battery is almost empty (when there are only 5 or fewer shaving minutes left), the battery symbol lights up red.
Make sure that the battery does not have a memory effect. What I suggest is taking the shaving head unit off and running the shaver till empty, then recharging. Check if the red light is still flashing.
There's also a head indicator at the bottom of some shavers.
To remind you to replace the shaving unit, the shaving unit symbol flashes (all types) and you hear a beep when you switch off the shaver (RQ1090 only). This happens at the end of 7 successive shaves to remind you to replace the shaving unit.
Without knowing what model you have it's difficult to diagnose further.
Your shaver does not have a sensor that identifies when you change the head. It is simply on a timer. Depending on your specific model, the light may simply go off after a couple of weeks or you may have to reset it with the power button. Refer to your user manual for details
Heads for your model are no longer available. Shaver will not hold a charge because batteries need replaced. Batteries can be replaced but soldering is required. If you have cleaned it well and it does not cut, I suggest getting a new shaver.

Shaving head check indication
After two years of use the red shaving unit symbol
î will flash for 30 seconds during 7 shaves to
indicate that you should check the condition of the
shaving heads. This indication is based on an average
shaving time of 3 minutes per shave. When the
shaving head symbol flashes, all other symbols and
lights are out. When the shaver is switched off, the
shaving unit symbol disappears.
When the red shaving unit symbol starts flashing,
you should check the shaving heads for possible
damage. If the shaving heads are damaged in any way,
they must be replaced in order to obtain optimal
shaving results
