Question about Brother BRTPT65 PT-65 Label Maker Printer

1 Answer

Every time I type up a lable, the black underline is beneath.

I used the underline for one word and now I cannot clear it, unfortunately, my manual was mistakenly tossed out.

Which button do I use to clear it, Staples Business Depot suggest
I google "Brother" and look for a manual. I even tried BS which that did not help, or is there another button I use to hold down and then clear the black underline?

I hope you can help, very much appreciated.

Sincerely,

Deborah

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Just a question: On the older model there are three push buttons in the master section. They are labeled 2TK, MIX and SUB. Underneath these buttons is a bracket underline and under that line is the word...

From your description, I think yours is the Spirit FX16. You can download the manual here, which will help. Here's what the manual says about those buttons:

The manual has a good detailed block diagram of signal flow, as well as lots of hookup information. It should clear up the mystery for you.

I was composing an email through hotmail and tried to use the underline with the underscore and maybe I pressed the CTL button or 'up arrow' button??? don' know....help thanks

Hi there,
While composing email in hotmail you can use the toolbar under the subject bar
bilalseham_2.jpg
here you can see the formatting bar, with Fonts>Size>and formatting settings B>Bold I> Italic> U>Underline
so when you press the respective buttons by selecting text it will become underline and you don't need to have underscore for underlining

If you require more assistance feel free to reply to this post

How do I stop my text from being underlined everytime I type a text message on my Droid X. I know How to clear the underline, but I don't want it underlined in the first place.

I am having the same problem with Droid 2. It is underlining everything I type in an app or text, and I can't make it stop. I know how to lock and unlock caps and alt, but this is not the problem. Already tried removing the battery, but the problem remains. It didn't start doing this until I accidentally pushed several buttons on the bottom left side of the slide out keyboard when I was opening it.

Can't get underline score off

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} I have included several solutions. The last is a procedure to RESET the device to factory defaults.

If the problem is underscore the do then I would suggest following the procedure for activating it in the hopes that it will turn it off.
Click the (symbol) key > when you see “A-I?” click the letter “ I ” > then use the right arrow key to select the underscore symbol > click enter (left facing arrow with it’s tail facing up at 90 degrees)

If the problem is underline setting being on then follow the steps to activate underline in the hopes that it will turn it off:
-Press the “Function” key
-use left and right arrow keys to toggle between options until you see “UNDL/FRM
-Then press either “FUNCTION” or the “Enter Key”
-AT ANYTIME YOU CAN PRESS “B5” to cancel out without making any changes. **Note: the “B5” key also says “clear” beside it.

All memory is lost in this unit if batteries are removed for long enough.

You can use a special RESET code which deletes all memory from the unit. The procedure is a follows:

1)Turn off the machine
2) Hold down “CODE” and “B5” at the same time. While pressing the “ON/OFF” button once.
3) Once the Machine turns back on, THEN AND ONLY THEN release the “CODE” and “B5” buttons.

GE Microwave DEMO MODE

The owner's manual (which can be downloaded here) doesn't show any demo mode, but it may exist.

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour. Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
