Best solution: DONT use that brand of dock! Zlive is known for that problem anyway.

First off. i think you mean 120gb.
Secondly, Here are just a few different suggestions.
1) Make sure its not muted on your zune
2) Some headphones have a volume switch on them so if yours have that switch, turn them up.
3) Try a different pair of headphones.

I would recommend this dock: http://www.amazon.com/Zune-Home-AV-Pack-v2/dp/B000VWOKQM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1301788437&sr=8-2 It charges your zune, and displays it on the TV at the same time. It can do wireless sync, if your zune supports it but if it does not, you would have to unplug the dock cable from the AC adapter, and plug it into your computer. The zune remains on the dock the entire time. I have this dock, and it works great.
