Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
The model is ESTATE by whirlpool corporation. Everything works fine then as soon as rinse cycle end, the whole machine stop. don't hear the timer, no sound.
Your lid switch is most likely bad.you can che.ck this by taking two screws from face of machine and flip face back.you will see a disconnect plug on machine that goes to your lid switch.unplug machine and unplug disconnect at top of washer under the face, you will need a jumper wire to put in 1st and 3rd hole in your disconnected.plug machine back in and see if it will go into spin.you can also put your finger on lid switch and push in on it and if you dont hear it clicking or if you dont see the finger to push in then it is definately lid switch.
