there is no reset button on most pioneer cd players only pioneers that carry reset buttons are the in dash or double din players that play dvd's

SOURCE: my Pioneer DEH-P4700MP keep resetting when car switched off

Did you use a harness to connect the wires?
Could be the power line (red) is connect to the ACC (Accessory) orange line, so every time you switch off the vehicle the power to the stereo is interrupted.

Normally they are under the face plate GL

Remove the plastic trim ring, and it reveals a slot on either side for pioneer chassis release keys.

remove the unit and disconnect the battery+red and yellow cables.check the front unit for derfomed plastics or stucked somehow microswitches!someone stucked from the heat!
