Easy to do, click the menu button on the monitor then go to Default settings to reset it back to the factory settings.

Antitheft mode

You should be able to disable this by holding down the Menu button and turning the power off.

Monitor shows VGA no input signal DVI no input signal then monito going to sleep

This sounds like a video card driver issue or the card it self. Make sure all cables are plugged in snug. Once done try to boot in to safe mode by restarting the computer and while it is starting keep on tapping key F8 and choose safe mode. If this works it is driver issue. If nothing happens it is the card it self. Might have to take it to a authorized repair shop. Hope this helps.

ATi radeon HD4650 issue

Hi there,

First enable you onboard video the connect your monitor to it. Insert you ATi video card in the mother board. Boot up. Install the ATi driver. Shutdown. Trasfer the monito to ATi video card. Then enjoy with you new vedeo card!

They say theft mode enable and doing like screensaver

"To resume normal operation of the monitor, connect it to the original system and use the HP Display Assistant Utility to disable theft deterrence (Option 1) or install the HP Display Assistant on the new system (Option 2)."

This happens when you move parts from one pc to another.

Hp business pc/912: error while booting/ reset case disabled

Go into the BIOS and disable the error message. You will need to look around in the BIOS to find the exact location of the enable/disable setting for case intrusion.

No sound

If speakers are built into the monitor, then there should be an audio cable that connects from the monitor to the green speaker out jack on the back of the computer.

If speakers are NOT built into the monitor, then buy a set of speakers from a store.

No signal to monitor

Try go to bios setup and then try resetting bios by selecting the bios default setting. and then look up for the configuration regarding your monitor setting or try to enabled that setting.

You can manipulate the bios setting ...don't forget to save the setting.

then try rebooting the system.

Computer monitor becomes distorted after boot up.

Download and install the correct driver for the monito as well as the deiver for your video card, if the video is onboard, you may need the motherboard and AGP driver as well.
You will probably need to boot in Safemode to do this.
Good Luck.

I Have a HP Slimline S3040. When I turn it on I get a message appear on the monitor saying on G** Signal, then the monitor goes to sleep?

1. after pressing poer button repetedly press f 8 go to safe mode enable vga mode.
if that does not work
2. get a pcie, pci, or agp video less than $100.00 that should fix it unless the mobo is ging bad itself.
