Question about Toshiba Satellite A75-S206 Notebook
I have a toshiba a75 s-206 and it will boot from anyother disk that i put in it but when it first starts is has the toshiba screen and then that is it the lil white blinking line in the top left corner starts blinking and that is it. but no if i put in a windows xp cd to just redo the computer it says boot from cd press any key so i do so and then is says configuring system and then that goes away and thats is the screen stays black so i dont know. helpppppppppp
Sounds like a bad hard drive to me. Take out the hard drive completely from the laptop and boot up with the windows xp cd and it should go past the blinking cursor. At that point you know you'll need another hard drive.
