Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Arcade

Xbox 360 won't show cuz of s-video

I plugged in the s- video to a HDTV and now whenever i plug in my xbox into my regular tv it won't play i mean you can hear it and everything but it just won't show and i have one of those av cords that can also plug into a ps2 and a wii and the ps2 showed up on the regular tv but the xbox360 just won't do it I plugged both of them in and still only the playstation showed but the sound for both the 360 and the ps2 came through the speakers someone please help?????!!!!!!

Follow the steps below, Hope this helps

1. Try another Av cable ( Audio video Cable )

2. Try another television

3. If the steps dont work, call xbox customer support to have your xbox serviced. Good Luck! hope your console still has warranty

The main reason why its acting that way its possible that the AV PORT is faulty or its your cables..

Is your JVC a HD TV? If not, it may because you haven't switched the xbox av plug in the back to regular tv instead of HD?

If you have the cable that is both component and a regular a/v cable, make sure that the switch is on regular tv and not hd, then ste the hd settings to what your tv can handle and then turn it back if you need to.

Xbox 360 plays movies fine but colour is wrong on games

i will suggest if you new tv has more inputs, just try a different imput, and make sure the plugs are in all the way. this is a new tv so it will be tight.

same with the video connection on the back of xbox well plugged and straigt.

New HDTV.. xbox 360 has no audio but has video

alright. make sure that your red, green and blue are all plugged in properly and that your audio plugs are also in there correct plugs. i think audio is red and yellow. correct me if im mistaken

Is the TV an High Definition TV?
If it's not an HDMI compatible tv them you will need a regular audio video cable for your XBOX 360
you cn get them all day on ebay or at any store.

NOO black xbox 360 screen and sound do not work and only day 4

Check to make sure all your cable is plugged in all the way, and if you are using the HD cable, that it is switched appropriately (regular TV to "TV" and HDTV to "HDTV"). If all that is well, call Microsoft, your system is under warranty and they will RMA it.

My xbox 360 power cord box messed up....

check your Audio/Video cable connection, sometimes those lights means that the plug isn't in the xbox/tv all the way
