Question about Mitsubishi WD-52725 52". Rear Projection HDTV
Doesn`t turn on with or without remote, flashing green timer light does not go off ........need HELP
Mitsubishi capacitors going bad is an extremely common problem with Mitsubishi tvs old and new. It
can be fixed easily and cheaply for those willing to use their hands.
Refer to this guide to replace the capacitors on your DM Power Circuit Board part # 935C9860. You could also have someone else do it for you for $100

That fixes the problem most of the time.
After replacing capacitors is you still get green light try replacing the EEprom. EEprom board also known as the E2P board is part number 935C978001

I turned the power off for a few minutes and used a pin to push the reset button. I held it in for about 2 minutes before turning on the power. When I turned the power on the light flashed initially but quit after a minute or so. I turned the TV on and it is working fine.

Your projector bulb went out. you need to call the manufacturer and order a new bulb. they cost 300 to 400 dollars a piece I believe your tv only has one bulb and they are really easy to install.
