The codes given by my Comcast Remote (0000, 0111) won't work to control my new BRAVIA TV.
Emailed Sony who said it was Comcasts problem. Comcast said it was Sony's problem.
cannot change channels. we have a picture and voice but channels won,t switch.
codes do not work on universal remotes both companies playing that is their problem.

Sony has unique code for all equipments, those are 0000, and 0111, if doesn't work with your tv the problem it is on the remote control.

Letls just say that Comcast's "universal remote" is universally *useless*. Not only won't it work with your Sony TV, it won't work with anything else either. As much as I hate agreeing with Sony (you know, the people who lobotomized the PS3), I would definitely say it's Comcast's problem; their remote is junk.
