Me and some buddies record with sonar home studio 6 and i bought a new pc custom built for recording well our computers on tha same day and time started having problems with sonar popping and glitching when playing back tracks new pc aint hit internet yet but three pc are doing same thing why and its only in sonar program

There is no activation code. You will need software that handles I/O sound device other than the built in audio of the PC. This device is sometimes delivered with either Sonar home edition or CuBase.

This is normal for recording. Even professionals do the same. What you need is to set your input to mono(either hardware or software), or explore your software look for effects like STEREO to MONO with some delay which I prefer for my recording. I did have a good result. Good Luck

This sounds like the software still thinks it isn't registered to you.

Do you have a registration button in the program interface?

If you have already registered the program or registration isn't required, try loading Sonar on another box and see if it's just a compability problem with your hardware.

Now if you need Studio program just call Pinnacle customer service and then asked for the replacement disc for $14.95 only.

Records at the highest bit-rate you can (320 is the best for CD audio), keep the gain at a medium setting (too high creates clipping, too low will drive you crazy with volume), and try to set at minimum dual channel (stereo). You may have pre-set options for this, most are dependant on what you want to output.

If size-of-file is an issue, simply decrease the bitrate, but leave all the other settings the same!

First are you using onboard sound or an added soundcard? If using onboard then the problem is most likely caused by outdated drivers or underpowered onboard sound. Try checking the software to see if it has any audio cleanup options as using them may help. Hope this helps.

UNINSTAL :
START>CONTROL PANNEL>ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS>SONAR>REMOVE.
RE-INSTAL :
DOUBLE CLICK FOR EXE SETUP PROGRAM FOR SONAR>SELECT TARGET AREA(DEFAULT C:\)>FINISH.
RESTART SYSTEM AND USE SONAR.

We're talking about audio recording. If so you must conntect your piano by using the L + R outputs with your sound card or mixer line inputs (that's how I do this). USB is ok if you want to use your piano as a master keyboard (MIDI). Another important thing is that you must have an additional application installed called sequencer ( for example Cubase Sx, Sonar...) which will let you store your digital music. I'm not talking about the proper settings of them because it could take a day or so...:)
Overall, you will have to learn a bit about the home studio, home recording techniques. There are tons of informations on web. A great thing is that you can use your CP33 as a master keyboard to control additional virtual instruments (VST) or for example play different piano samples (check Synthogy Ivory). Possibilites are endless!
