Follow your cable down from your hand control. Pull the black rubber grommet up or down and loosen up your clutch cable once it has slack usually takes a 1/2 inch and 9/16 wrench then go up to your handle their is a snap ring under neath take it off. push the clip up and remove handle.

I got a road king classic 2007 and it has never been started, it has sat in storage. What do you suggest I do first?

drain the gas and replace with new, do an oil change and check the levels of the primary case and gear box. check your battery hopefully it was disconnected and has been on a battery tender or you have a new one. check the operation of the clutch cable and brakes and lube them if necessary. check tires for cracking and pressure. Some of this may not be necessary if the bike was properly stored and maintained.

How do you change the Crank position sensor on a 2007 HD Road King Classic

Although I don't work on Twin Cam powered bikes, it shouldn't be too difficult to change the sensor. It's just held in by a single bolt and an O-ring. The other ends of the wires are probably pinned but you're going to have to disassemble the plug to put them in it.

Good Luck

Location of oil drain plug on a 1999 HD Road King Classic

The solutions are close, so I must assume they are HD Road King answers, just not a 1999 Road King. The drain plug is on the front (facing the forks) left side (clutch) of the oil pan. On the 1999 model the drain plug is a 3/4 inch bolt. After changing the oil, be sure to replace the O-ring. The O-ring is rubber and does not last more than a single oil change. HD charges a dollar for the O-ring, but better to replace it than to end up with your new oil all over the garage floor.
