Got a LG ducted air conditioner coming up with error code ch26 tested winding all reading 1.6ohms is that normal on a inverter system

Do you mean it is powered by an inverter or is it a 12VDC unit for an RV?

If it operates from 12V, the motor and compressor will measure quite low using only a resistance meter.
For one thing, your meter leads will introduce 0.4-0.6 Ohms of resistance. Short the meter leads together to see this.

Any device using a motor or transformer (as in an inverter) and 12 volts will measure low resistance since the major portion of its 'resistance' is determined by the inductance of the windings and a normal meter cannot measure this.

How to replace a thermister?

A thermister reads temperature by resistance (ohms). Higher the temperature gets the lower the resistance. It is two wires just pull them out and replace. It does not matter if you interchange them. Your unit reads the thermister to determine temperature.

P8 showing on air cond and air con is not working

P8-Abnormality in outdoor unit.

Solution:
1) Check the indoor/outdoor connecting wire in proper point.
2) Change the connection of electric wiring, if reversed phase.
3) Check the protection device, if malfunction, replace it.
4) Measure the resistance of the outdoor coil thermistor.
If the resistance is normal, replace the
outdoor controller board
Thanks.

I have a air conditioner and the power cord gets really hot

If it's a 110 window unit the problem is resistance. resistance=heat. Either replace the outlet with a new one and/or replace the plug. '
WARNING: This can cause the wires in you house to get hot enough to melt the insulation and cause a severe fire. Do get this fixed at once!

What is the resistance for heating elements on rheem ruud E10-18-G need to be tasted at

You can calculate the resistance if you know the volts and watts or amps.
Resistance = volts / amps
Resistance = volts squared / watts
Resistance = watts/ amps squared

Haier air conditioner

On the Compressor? - Theres a run (R) that gets the red wire from the run capacitor or line side voltage, theres a start (S) that gets the yellow wire from start capacitor and theres a common (C) that gets the black wire which connects to neutral or common. If you ohm it out to identify the terminals the highest resistance is between (S) and (R) second is between (S) and (C) and least resistances is between (R) and (C). Hope this helped. GL!
