My laptop shutdown whenever i drag a song in the media player -why does it do that?

Check your Virtual Memory, maybe because the module was unstable. You can also try to use other media player, if you are using Windows Media Player, switch over to Real Time player or iTunes for a while. We can isolate and find the problem there. Because you might need to re-install the Windows Media Player soon or try to upgrade it.

I cannot remember my Bios start up Password on my Panasonic Lap Top CF-R6

you can reset passw, but reset bios to defaults, need to enter time and date.

Note: disconect power, and release battery module.

you need to open laptop case, for these:

1st : check for screws below laptop, with keyboard label, take them out. check for plastic cover on keyboard (top), and take this out, (very carfully is very fragile).
then take the keyboard out (check for small fragile plastic cables).
look inside for any battery (module or big/small clock battery inside).
try to reach , and take this out ( connector or battery) , if dont see-it you may need to open all laptop bottom case. take all bottom screws and open carfuly the case, ( 1st take the memory, hd, cd drive, and so on. Out) and check where is the battery is located. and take very carfully on removing boards and so, is very fragile boards.

then remove battery out, wait a 1min and then reaseable all again, in the same order and same screws positions. and your problem is repaired. when power up. you need to enter bios to configure date and time. and reboot to test.

Floppy drive a, where? how to open it

Unfortunately there is no floppy drive present in the Notebook. But when you install Windows XP the Icon " 3 1/2 Floppy (A:)" will be located in My Computer. But actually there will be no floppy drive present. There is no need to panic for that, just leave it. Thank you for contacting Fixya.

Need to remove bios password

You will have to reset the BIOS to the default settings.
Power OFF the laptop, remove the power supply and battery.
Open the access door and either:
1. Remove the motherboard battery for a few minutes and put back in.
2. Locate the two reset pins nesr the CMOS BIOS chip or near the motherboard battery. Shot the two pins for a few seconds.

Close 'er up, replace main battery and/or power supply.
*done*

Having problem installing the wireless driver on transport T2000

If you can't install the driver for the wireless,it can't turn on.You also should make sure, its the correct driver for the wireless card you have under your keyboard.Several other wireless cards, can and could be connected to your motherboard ,other than the one from MPC.If you want you can contact.me at(durtopian @hotmail.com) with more details of your problem and i'll help you more,if i can.

How do I remove the back of my MPC Transport T2000?

You have to first remove the hinge covers then remove the power strip where the power button is then remove the hinge screws then unplug the display from the motherboard turn the laptop over and remove all the screws there.Turn it back over remove the keyboard. Then remove both wireless card antenna wires that run up to the display.then lift the display off and lay it to the side.remove the cd drive. Then carefully pry apart the top from the bottom slowly and you should then be able to have access to the motherboard and other internal componants.

Wireless network

I don't think Vista has a working driver for the T2000 because it was designed for XP..Unless you upgraded the XP you had to Vista. You should install XP back on the laptop then go to (www.mpcdrivers.com)where you can get the exact drivers for your base unit and the XP operating system.Putting XP back on it, is really the only sensible thing to do, to ensure all hardware will be installed ,especially the biometrics. Thanks
