Question about IBM ThinkPad 600E 2645 Notebook
The hard drive for your machine is located on the left-front side. There is one allen type screw holding the drive in. (located on the right side of the drive toward the front of the case.) Remove the screw and open the panel and pull the drive out. Slide the new one in, and install your new system software. Here is a link that provides detailed information with pictures regarding your laptop (as well as other thinkpad models) Page 76 of the little online manual detail your HD removal.
