Sealed Lead acid battery rechargeable highly efficient, leak proof and maintenance free
I think there are four batteries in the pack.
The batteries in an UPS are sealed lead acid batteries. The voltage and amp hour rating depends upon the VA rating of your UPS. I suggest you shut down your UPS and remove the batteries and get replacement ones that are the same rating as the ones in the UPS. Be careful of the size of the battery, they are a neat fit inside the UPS battery compartment.
It is a little obvious but I have to say it. Make sure the wall outlet it is plugged into is live and the UPS' power button is on. Now for the (slightly) less obvious:
The battery is dead. Even high-end UPS batteries are only good for 3-5 years depending on your evironment and the UPS' sensitivity level. I budged for battery replacement every 5-years whether they die or not. Better safe than sorry.
Finally, the UPS hardware is dead. It does happen. I have seen them die after only a couple of years. Overheating is usually the culprit.
If this doesn't narrow it down pick up the phone and get the manufacturer on the line. Make sure you have your model and serial number ready because they will ask.
MGE Pulsar 3000 is an online UPS. try to check the battery first if its ok. coz for an online UPS it will need to have a good working UPS battery to trigger the switching relays to on the online UPS unlike backups UPS that can be turn on without any batteries
