Go to www.dyson.com to contact the Dyson in your country. I'm sure they'll have a good idea of what materials were used.

Well, Yes you could, however there is no difference other than colour. The Animal comes with an attachement tool used for pet hair thats the only difference.

Hi, I have had my Dyson DC07 Animal vacuum for 5 years. Recently, it turns off by itself while vacuuming. Perhaps it is overheating. But this does not seem normal. It is not being used as an industrial...

Try this:
I don't know how many filters the Dyson has, but my bagless has three.
Take all of your filters out and inspect/clean them. Many vac's have thermal overload switches in them that can only be reset by them cooling. This is probably what is happening. One of the filters is not allowing sufficient
air to pass.

My Dyson DC17 Animal Bagless Upright does not click to stay in an upright position. It works but the handle falls to the floor.

This is a common fault with the Dyson DC07 (and other Dysons) unfortunately the clip that holds the handle upright hs broken. It can be repaired, but will cost a reasonable amount to have done... I would just live with the problem and prop the vacuum cleaner against a wall when not in use.

I have a Animal Dyson DC07. While cleaning the filter I laid the vacuum down . Now I can not get it to stand upright

Have a look at the following link:

http://www.dysonmedic.com/DC04%20Folder/DC04%20upright%20fix.html

It is aimed at the DC04 BUT at the very end of the article, it says the DC07 suffers the same problem and the fix is very similar.

My Dyson Animal DC07 will not turn on. Nothing happens when plugged in and the switch depresses

The Dyson cords are known to go bad, test the cord and see if there is voltage. If this is too mechanical for you, take the vacuum to your nearest vacuum repair shop

Sorry I really can't give you an honest answer. I don't care for the Dyson vacuum and service for them in alot of areas is hard to find as alot of servicers don't work on them.

Dyson dc07 animal bagless

You probably have a blockage somewhere in the hose or in the base where the hose goes in. Remove the plastic tube at the base of the hose by simply unclicking it and remove the obstruction.
