Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I an inkjet printer does not load the paper, that is usually because of a mechanic problem.
Try playing with the roller at the back , check that they are not stuck in up position.
If you find the roller rubber surface is worn and slippery, then you can use some thin abrasive paper on the roller wheels, to give the rollers more grip.
If the paper feeder mechanism springs are weak, you may need to replace the springs, and this delicate job will be better done by a technician.
If springs are weak , often the printer works by placing more paper sheets on the feeding tray.
Check also that the machine had not stopped feeding because a foreign object is stuck inside the printer.
To find out:
If this is an inkjet, then put the printer upside down and shake gently, if it is an all in one it may be too big, try instead inspecting the inside.
On a laser, the shaking can cause damage, if this is a laser then just remove toner and eventually drum and inspect the inside for foreign objects.
Check also the paper tray sensor, that are small plastic tabs on the paper feeder, detecting if there is paper loaded on the machine.
Let me know if you need further help and do not forget to evaluate the solution.

Clearing credit card-sized paper jammed inside the printer
Credit card-sized and 4" x 6" sized paper must be loaded properly. If this media is not loaded properly, it will feed into the printer and will not exit. Credit card-sized paper should only be loaded in the ASF and in portrait orientation. 4" x 6" sized paper can be loaded in the ASF or cassette. But must be loaded portrait orientation.
If credit card-sized paper was loaded in landscape orientation in the ASF and did not eject (exit), please follow this procedure.
