During start up you can hear the disk start to spin. More than not it will stop spinning and display a error messagr about the disk. Does this on all disks ( new and old). Makes the sound even when it loads and allows you to play the game. Help!!

Maybe the disc reader in the Wii is having problems, this could be natural for the Wii, but if it isn't reading the disc, then try talking to the nintendo company and ask them that there is a loud noise in the Wii when its reading discs, they should know what to do. My Wii does that sometimes, especially Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but it still works though. hope that helps.
There is always a sound like ''a disk is turning'' and there is always a ''beep'' when a disk is turned in, does there come light on the side? If, do the following things: if not, contact Nintendo always.
I recommended buying a lens cleaner, or contact Nintendo.
Hi my name is Juan and the problem you got is with the bluray laser lens they have stopped reading games you can check this out put a cd on your ps3
and at the same time place your ear on top cover and will heard 3 clicking noises of the laser but make no noise because this clicking
noise is so fine that you need to make no noise i goes click click click
you will hear it but make sure you put your ear on top cover at the
same time you insert the disk it takes about 3 -4 seconds for the clinking noise after you have insert the cd
some lasers they do try to read and they make the disk to spin off and
on some they do make the disk to spin normally but nothing happen and
the solution is to replace the laser lens I am a ebay trusted power seller and I can get you one if you want to
Hello my name is Tim Ehrhart, I repair 360's and have had this problem with them and there problem is that the magnet that holds the disk in place gets stuck and makes a grinding noise that sounds horrid. Please leave feedback as I am new and trying to build a great rep. Thank You.
Hi, this will have to be repaired by Nintendounfortunately. there is a relay switch that initiates the spinning of the disc when it is inserted all the way. this switch also has a sensor telling it to initiate the play/run option. all of this is automated and if either one of these important devices are malfunctioning, it will cause the Action's you are witnessing.
Aww darn. The disk problem. Ok well first of all make sure the disk is clean.. If it is then darn it gets worst. If it is dirty grab a soft cloth (kleenex is my consideration) and put a little water on it and whipe it but not in a circular motion. Ok now if it is clean and still not working then thats bad.. Call 1-800-255-3700 and follow the instructions. You will get with a live person to help you. The reason that it is not working is the laser that is fried.. this happens if the wii is on too long or dust gets inside. It will cost you about 80$ unless your wii is less then a year old then it is free
Ps. If the disk is scratched you can buy somme scratchmagic and almost any games store it is not very expensive and removes scratches easily
