Question about Maxtor 1.5TB 7200RPM 16MB USB 2.0/FW400/FW800 Barracuda 7200.2 FireWire 400 (1394a) Hard Drive
I have recently bought an external hard drive. Maxtor Basics Desktop. When I check the capacity by viewing Properties and then disc space, it is only showing 811 gigabytes.
The pc I connected to is on an XP platform, I then connected to my vista laptop and again it showed 811 gigs. I have been told that the problem may maybe that the bios my not be recognising the size.
Any advise would be welcome
You got it man you have two reason for bios like you tell me and your partition table so download magic partition on your windows xp and you will be able to correct this easely
bye and good lock if you have other problem for this tell me
