I have pictures on the camera card - but I accidently took some photos without the card in it. So now I have pictures imprinted in the camer itself. How do I get them to transfer to a computer or to the card?

TRANSFERRING PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

I do have a memory card in the camera. I am going to do as you say as soon as I get a reader. But, what about the pictures on the camera itself?

First remove the batteries from the camera for 10 mins then insert the batteries back into the camera. This will reset the camera and you need to set the date and time again.

All your photos may be stored on the memory card.

To check if the camers has photos stored inside the camera's memory then remove the memory card then turn on the camera and see if you can see any stored photos in the camera, if not the all your photos are on the memory card.

If there are photos on the camera try connecting the camera without the memory card to your computer and see if you can download your photos. If this does not work, try using another computer.

Best of luck.

Turned on camera and all pics from memory card were erased. The number 670 still shows up in the right corner of the camer when I turn it on. When I take a picture, it says 1. Pictures and camera seem...

If you are using a memory card, take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that are available to help you recover your photos. This blog article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.

How do you get to the photo album???????

Connect the usb cable between the camera and the computer. Make sure the camer is off. After you connect the camera to the computer, then you can turn on the cameral. Go to My computer and you will see all the drives. Look for VTech 773. Double click on the drive and you will see a PHOTO folder, pictures will be there. Remember: if your using an SD card, then you will see that under removable drives. Your pictures could be there too.

New Canon A550

very simple. you need to get an SD card reader from your local electronics store ( CC or Best buy). it's very simple. the memory card goes into the card reader and that ensemble plugs into any of the usb ports in your computer. once plugged in, the computer will recognize it as external memory, just like a flash/thumb drive and your comptuer can read the pictures off of the card without any interaction with the camera itself. all you will need to do is copy the pictures and paste them into any folder you wish.

Saving pictures

The camera has a very limited storage space on itself. It probably isnt saving the pictures on the card because the card is write protected (probably on accident)
just pull out the card and on it is a tiny little switch. just push that into the next position and it is no longer write protected. the write protection is there to prevent you from losing your photos, to put more photos on it you will have to deactive the protection with that switch, its usually white colored

Picture card

You can buy a cheap multi card reader at an office supply store, Best Buy, a computer store or a photographic supply. Use the card reader to read your memory card from your computer
