Question about JVC Everio GZ-MG30 Camcorder
I took a years worth of video on my JVC-GZ-MG130 Camcorder when I gave it to a friend to retrieve some sports shots for a video the team was putting together. When I received the camcorder back and tried to use I would get the message that there was no more room to take additional footage. After a few times of turning it on and trying to download the footage directly to the computer or to disc the messaging " reformat" coninues to come up. When we hook up the camcorder to the computer it's not recognizing the camera. My friend believes there's a problem with the harddrive, and I do not want to reformat unitl I can get the video footage off. 1) I really need advise on how to retrieve the video footage and 2) where to proceed from there if there is a hard drive problem. Greatly appreciate all your help
If you are using a memory card , get a memory card reader that will work in a usb port on your computer
