My sansui tv have a problem.transister 4460 getting short after replace output voltage drop stand by realese

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. I purchased an old Realistic TRC-431 CB. When I turned it on it worked fine, the mic was keyed then the lights went dim and stayed dim. Now the lights remain dim. I checked the two output transistors...

The problem is with your power supply. There should be a big round transister on the power supply this is the power transister. It will be mounted to the power supply case. Replace this transister and try to operaste your radio again. Make sure that the power supply you use is at leat 7 amps or the radio will not operate properly and you will possibly blow the transister again.

Key to tx-green lite out-no output power or red lite rec ok

It could be small transistors--in the back where the light and transmit hook up. One small transistor will shut down transmit & possibly receive. Get it serviced at a radio repair shop. if you know how do it yourself. Change all small transistors to 2sc3904 or 2sc 3906 at "Radio Shack."

Blowen transisters

Unless you can test the circuits to determine the failure and check for the predriver stage for any failure do not try to change. You must be familiar with the junctions, the type of the transistors before you try, they could be a complimentary pair driver too. so if familiar buy the same rating, desolder from the pcb, care to see for the correct junction, insert the Base, collector , emitter leads carefully solder and test after rechecking once again. otherwise get help.. Good day

When we turned on our large screen panasonic tv there was a pop, then no sound. The picture is fine. It is several years old. Not a flatscreen. Large speaker at the bottom.

It sounds like the power transister for the amplifier has blown. Inside, it is usually the largest transister connected directly to a heat sink. It will require the ability to solder (and unsolder) in order to affect the repair. Look up the transister from its code inscribed on the case to find a replacement. Power transisters are usually not very expensive. You can go to this link to see what a typical power transistor looks like.
