get the on screen menu up ( press menu on the remote) move around until you find auto tune , move sideways and it starts auto tuning

Since most radio's have digital displays these days, to have a pointer move along a dial implies it's either old or a retro model. In any case all that will have happened is that the chord or something in the drive that moves the pointer will have either snapped off or broken. It shouldn't be too hard to repair, though it can be a bit tricky to set it up right.
your guitar has 4 strings F/A/C/E string go all the way up the neck of the guitar and you will see knobs go to the different strings. Turn the knob untill you get the required note then move to the next string. Now if you want to tune a set of drums thats different. First you need a drum key and a knowledge of what you want them to sound like. Then , if its a radio you want to tune you should state what kind because they are all different but the procedsure is the same .
Select the AM or FM wave band. Tune the radio to a station then press and hold down the 1 or 2 or 3 pre tune station button until it beeps. Then this radio station is then set to which pre tune button you have selected. Repeat to set the buttons for other radio stations.
AM reception depends on orientation of the radio. Take the radio from its handle (top side up) and rotate it until you find the best signal. If it has Automatic Tuning, take the radio outside, find the best direction and initiate the ATS. Once the stations are recorded in memory, tune to one radio and listen. If that reception is poor rotate the radio without changing the frequency on the dial.

same this happned to me in my 2006 sentra. the volume for the radio is gone. i can tune, its just barely audible/ quiet. weirdly though it sounds perfect when playing CDs. i almost thought maybe it got switched in to mute mode or something. did you figure out your problem?
