Question about RCA 35V432T 35" TV

RCA 35V432T 35" TV with crunched pcb (crt itc008 2127952A)

My friend has a RCA 35V432T 35" TV and during a recent move to a new house it was shipped laying flat on its screen on a couch. The problem is somebody used it for a step ladder! When he turns it on the power light comes on but the screen is black and he noticed that a vent on the back cover was smashed in. So I took the back off of it thinking maybe one of the circle of solder spots on the circuit board on the back of the tube had broken like I have fixed on pc monitors before. It wasn't very hard to see why it wasn't working. That pcb (crt itc008 2127952A) on the end of the tube was broken into pieces right around those solder joints that are in a circle. I checked the fuse and it was still good so I wonder if somehow nothig shorted when it was first turned on with the crunched board? So I guess the next step is to order a new one and solder it in. Anybody got any idea what's the chances it will work again? Any suggestions or comments as to how to go about fixing this would be great.

chassis # ITC008MYN
Thanks in advance

Anybody know where to get a replacement circuit board # crt 2127952A that goes on the end of the tube and has the circle of solder joints and a couple connectors and wires that go to it?

the part that should have come off with the board didn't and i am having a hard time figuring out how it comes off? is there a connector tab or release clip type of thing or does it just come straight off or twist? I am afraid of breaking the tube or what appear to be notches kinda like teeth that it slides onto if u know what i'm saying cuz i dunno if I do LOL

Thanks for looking anyways I appreciate it.. that would be cool to find a board just laying around in somebodys collection that they would wanna get rid of kinda cheap. Then I could just fix it for my boss without going through the whole ordering paypal process etc.. about How much would one cost anyways?

If the tub is not broke at the neck where the crt plugs on and the pins are all still there the there is a good chance that it will still work. You realey wont know untill you try and see. some shops might have a used crt board if they have had a tv come in struck by lighting and saved the board for what parts that was still good.I know i do that a lot. Dont think I got one for a 35 inch though.

It probley is stuck jamed on the tube from being steped on. Sometimes are hard to get off even if not steped on. There is no tabs that i know of when you pull the board off without unsoldering anythin there is a white plastic socket that comes off with it. On the end of the tube there is a white palastic that stays on the end of the tube that the little wire pins comes through the plastic that stays on tube is a holder for these pins and lets you only be able to plug the crt board on one way. You may have to get a little bit rough, May have to take a knife and try to pry it off . Could take a drimal tool and split the one plastic. I dont know if you have ever took a crt board off a tube before or not but if not look on the computer to see if youcan find a picture as to what they look like so you can under stand what im talking about. Should be able to srarch for crt socket or board and find something. If I had your email i would contact you and see about sending you the one i got it might be the same on or you might be able to take the twoand make it work.

I have a RCA 35V432T. The TV is not turning on, I can hear it clicking on and off only. Any ideas?

Hi - probably not worth fixing, I'm afraid. That set is a lower-end RCA with a common problem, the EEPROM chip needs to be replaced.

Doesn't rcognize DVD players

You aren't trying to use channel 3 or 4 are you? That's for RF connections only.

There are probably AV input channels on the set that aren't accessible from the channel up/down buttons. On my set there is another button to switch between inputs and channel select.
