When the gun is under pressure it sticks and doesnt put any power to the end of the gun just makes noise?
hi, the problem you are having is with the small fins that turn when the air hits them, these have become brittle and are allowing the air to pass through them without turning the torque in the air drill, the problem your going to have is getting the parts they just dont sell them, if it was say snap on then you could get a free replacement as they have lifetime guarantee, depending on how long you have had yours will depend on the options you have,
what i would do now is contact the makers either by phone or website and tell them you have always used their tools and have never had any problems before and this is the 1st time you have had to call them regarding a faulty item as you have always found them high quality and long lasting, saying this may get you a replacement or they may tell you to send it in to them for repair.
unless they can sell the spare parts to repair it your pretty much stuck, plus if you did get the fins you will also need a machine to pull the gun apart as the bearings are pushed together usage heavy machines that use several tonnes of pressure to press the gun together.
contact them explain you have always used their tools and have been happy with the tools you have purchased and explain this is the first time you have had problems, also drop the line that you promote their products to work mates who now buy them as they are good quality tools,
they may then offer you a new gun or ask you to send it in for repair, hopefully they will do this at no charge.
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
please rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks
