Our Whirlpool Quiet Partner II washed our load of dishes, but didn't drain out the water. When we noticed that the water didn't drain we closed the door and pressed the Drain Button. Nothing happened. Next, we tried to select other buttons but noting was functional. The door is latching properly, I checked the main breaker for the disherwasher and it did not trip. I removed the bottom panel cover of the dishwasher to manually drain. So now we now have a drained dishwasher with no power to it for any selection. I also turned off and then turned off the main breaker in an attempt to reset it. Did not work.Need help.Thanks.

- Thank you so much! I picked up the new fuse tonight and have it running again!! $17 Canadian
When you remove the bottom panel cover, check the wiring connection inside the junction box on the right for a loose or shorted wire. If that's ok, open up the console and check the continuity of the thermal fuse that's clipped to the control board. Chances are it needs to be replaced. Good luck!

- The console is the front panel with the cycle selection buttons on it. Remove the top screws from inside the door and flip the console down toward you. The control board is to the right. The thermal fuse is a small white rectangular piece connected to the control board with 2 wires (black and black w/ white stripe). Please post your model number if you can't find it. and I'll try to assist you further.

- Thank you for posting the model number! Turn off the power to the dishwasher at the breaker. Remove the inner door panel by removing the screws around the inside of the door. Remove the control cover on the top right of the door. You should see the control board. On the side closer to you, you will see the thermal fuse which is a small rectangular plastic piece with a small fuse in it. In the case of your model, there should be a brown and brown/white wire connected to the thermal fuse. Remove the wires and test the thermal fuse for continuity. The part number is675813, replace it if required. Good luck!
