Need to reset owner ID on a panasonic tx-32lxd

Just bought a panasonic tv from receivers auction, but cannot change the owner ID as this is pin protected and it is unlikely that the previous owner will gladly give up the details

Is there anyway the system can be reset?

Service Mode Function
MPU controls the functions switching for each IICs through IIC bus in this chassis. The following setting and adjustment can
be adjusted by remote control in Service Menu
How to enter SERVICE
In main menu, move to choose sound menu, set BASS to MAXIMUM, and set TREBLE to MINIMUM.
Simultaneously press " i " button on remote control and DOWN button (-/v) on the TV set.

Exit with off switch on tv.
When you next switch on TV it is as brand new giving you the option of setting pin number and user ID.

Thanks for that! "hiyamike" Just bought a Panasonic TH-37PX70BA Plasma TV on ebay & the owner forgot he'd even set the OWNER ID let alone what code he'd used! Your instructions for TX-32LXD worked on our "new" TV also, maybe a standard procedure for Panasonic TV's then? Anyway now entered our details so worked a treat - thanks again. Isn't the internet helpful!

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Remote will not work

Have the remotes which are infrared tested but seems unlikely both are bad, either the set has a lockout feature for the remote or maybe the receiver in the set is bad---get the remote as close to the receiver as possible to see if it works that way at all.

Just bought a Garmin GPS. Where do I find the PIN number to use it for the first time?

If it is asking for a PIN number, then the unit has been secured by the previous owner. If you bought it new, take it back to the store for a new unit. If you bought it used, you cannot change the PIN number. Only Garmin can unlock it and you will need an original receipt from a licensed Garmin dealer to unlock it and they will probably charge you for this service. This is a security feature so that the unit cannot be used if it is stolen.

How do I get the ID code on a Panasonic CQ-VD7003...

I have the same unit if you hold the right round stick knob to the right for 10 seconds while the unit is on it should unlock the unit if the previous owner didnt set a 4 digit code. I had the same problem and it worked good luck.

Well i bought it used and its lockwhat can i do?

Ask the previous owner for the PIN. Your only other options are to take the unit to the location at which the PIN was entered, or send the unit back to Garmin.

I bought 15 used MSNTV2 units from a government liquidation auction with the hopes of reselling them for a profit. I failed to realize that these are password protected machines and there isnt much you can...

Ruismall is halfway there. You must hold down the MSN power button on the keyboard while typing the magic number 32768. Wait a while until the TV screen goes blank, then power up again. I had to power up twice, but I did finally get the "Welcome to MSN" screen.

Panasonic 32 inch LCD TV reset

Here's a possible solution. I have a TC32LX7 and forgot my password. I tried the service mode access method for my 27" Toshiba SDTV. It worked. Remember, the entire set is put
back to the factory settings. All you do is:

1> Turn on the set.
2> Turn the volume level to zero.
3> Press and hold the "Down Volume" button on the TV.
(Do not release the button)
4> Wait 1 sec
5> Press and hold the Menu button on the Remote Control
(Make sure the remote is pointing at the TV's sensor)
6> Keep holding both buttons until the TV goes into System
Check mode. (When it does, Release the buttons)
7> If it works:
a) A message should popup telling you the system is
being checked, do not power off ...
b) Then that message will go away and the screen will
simple have some result codes showing.
8> If something like step 7 happened, Press and hold the
"Power" button on the TV until it shuts off. When you
turn it on again it will think it is the first power up.
(bang no passcode) - The End - Stop Reading.

9> If step 7 did not happen, try steps 1-6 again.

10> If step 9 did not work...Oh well then I guess the
software reset method was changed.

Sony str-da90es in protect mode

When these units go into protect mode, they normally have a blown channel. It is not an easy fix, it will require the replacement of a few parts. You would need a multimeter and soldering equipment to determain which parts need to be replaced.

If you would like to fix it yourself let me know and I can help you with it, but it would not be an easy job for you unless you have some experience at troubleshooting electronics.
