Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Sound Driver Help

It is unlikely 2 be tied to the BIOS.

I suggest you look under device manager to see if it is showing a problem with the audio. To get there:

Right Click on My Computer
Click on Properties, then the Hardware tab
Select Device Manager
Scroll down to Sound and expand that
See if it shows a question mark

You could try deleting the current sound driver if it shows a problem then rerun the hardware scan and use the new driver you downloaded.

Good luck

this is one of the most common problem while downgrading from vista to XP.. get the driver of your sound device...now u can't directly install the setup it wud display no audio device... so do the following...
1. Righty click my computer...click the hardware tab..
2. click device manager... now you will see a yellow mark on the uninstalled audio device. right click on it and update driver from a specific loaction( where you have downloaded your audio driver ).

this would work...but remember to install the microsoft unversal audio architecture before this.
