When I start up my Wii console, it goe to the Wii menu, works for about 10 seconds. And freezes, it won't reset or anything. The only way to turn it off is to go over and manually turn it off on the console itself. I tried pulling out the cords and it still hasn't shown any signs of recovery.

The screen on my Wii game is frozen and even if I unplug it, it just goes back to the same frozen screen. Please help!

Please check to see if there is any dirt or dust on the disc, this will often cause the game to freeze.
If the console has stuck on a frozen screen, please unplug from power for 10m then plug back in.
Your console should reset and start working normally again.
Thanks

Wii Fit

what appears to have happened is the sensor within the mote has dislodged and been moved out of alignment the smacking both sides works but its only a stop gap solution, you need to open up the mote and tac some solder onto the connections, this will prevent it from going out again, also check the sensor bar is not loose as the cable from the sensor bar can sometimes become loose if it's moved around alot.

Select the left arrow to scroll over to more options. Then select "Internet" from the list and "Connection Settings."

Wii has frozen playing guitar hero

Hi. I got the same thing playing GH but without the nunchuck. Use the hand controller to re-sync. Press the sync button on the console FIRST and then the sync button on the hand controller SECOND.

I sat for hours trying to work it out - and it cleared the problem within seconds. Hope it works for you too.

Cannot access options on the left hand side of the start screen.

Did she put the DVD in backwards? A normal DVD movie should not affect the Wii system in any way, regardless. If it's still under warrenty, I recommend you back up your save games and Miis, then ship if off to Nintendo using their Repair Order request.

Nintendo wii problems

Hold the Wii Remote with the button side down. Without using much force, firmly tap the button side of the remote against the palm of your other hand a few times. Doing this does not take a lot of force, so be sure not to tap the Wii Remote very hard. Check for proper response.

  • Check to make sure the Sensor Bar cord is inserted into the back of the Wii console and the Sensor Bar is centered above or below your TV screen.
  • Make sure you are using fresh batteries in the Wii Remote.
  • The Wii Remote Controller should be used between 3 to 10 feet from the TV.
  • Make sure no objects are blocking the signals between the Sensor Bar, the Wii console, and the Wii Remote.
  • Check for interference from infra-red light sources, such as candles, sunlight, fireplaces, and stoves.
  • Radio frequency interference may cause the Wii Remote to work erratically. Check for wireless devices such as cordless phones, wireless computer keyboards or mice, or other similar devices, and move or turn them off.
I hope this fixes it for you!
