Question about Lenovo Computers & Internet
You are absolutely correct! When you change the partitions size it can affect the recovery partition or if you switch out the hard drive it will also affect your recovery partition. When the recovery partition is considered nonusable the computer will respond exactly as you've stated.
Since your recovery partition is unavailable now you'll need to order recovery CD's from the manufacturer. Call IBM Toll free @ :1-800-426-7378 and ask them to transfer you to someone who can sell you recovery disks. Unfortunately almost every company charges for them and they run about 30 - 40 dollars.
Hope this helps!
