That speaker grille does come off. There are some adjustments servicers occasionally need to get at behind it, so it usually just snaps on with some plastic fasteners holding it in place. You just need to grab it by the sides and pull forward.

Now having said that, I'll admit I'm not familiar with every Toshiba model. So yours might be different. Every one I've worked on so far has had a snap-on grille. But some manufacturers hide mounting screws under a trim strip between the bottom of the screen and the top of the speaker grille. This strip is held on by snap fasteners, and when you take it off you'll find screws holding the top of the speaker grille in place. So if the grille absolutely doesn't just want to pull off, check for that trim strip method.

Wont re-assemble

Assuming you did not remove the brush roller to clean it and consequently did not reseat it, I am guessing that the bottom plate is not reinstalling as it should. On some uprights, the bottom plate hooks in at the front and is latched in place with clamps. This can be difficult if there is interference with other parts. Give me some more detail on what works and what doesn't

Freezer freezes but frig wont cool amana with freezer on the bottom

I couldn't find a repairman so I pulled the big thing away from the wall, took off the bottom front plate and the bottom rear plate and unplugged the big beast. Then using a refrigerator brush and a vacuum I carefully cleaned all the dustballs from the coils on the bottom. Then plugged it back in and in about 3 hours it was cooling normally again on a "4" setting.

Pull the plastic cover off of the front unit at the very bottom. This is referred to by some as the "kick plate". Upon removing the kick plate, you should see the coils (may need flashlight) and then simply using your crevice tool on your vacuum, clean them off.

How do I clean my EcoQuest Breeze?

The purifier should be cleaned about once a month and you should do the following:
  1. Unplug the Breeze before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the Breeze with a soft cloth dampened with water, vacuum the front grill to remove any lint buildup.
  3. Cleaning the rear lint screen - You can either vacuum the filter or you can wash in hot water. Allow to dry before reinstalling the lint screen. Do not use soap, it will damage the carbon material in the lint screen.
  4. Remove the purifier plate from the purifier and soak in 1 part amonia and 1 part water solution for 10-20 minutes. Gently scrub the metal grid on the plate with a toothbrush and rinse with water. Clean the metal contacts with the same solution. Allow the plate to dry overnight or use a hair dryer to dry throughly.

Kenmore Trio 596.735073200 Frig & Freezer aren't working

Behind the removable toe plate at the bottom front there is a wire grill condenser. Using you vacuum cleaner and crevasse tool clean it out as best you can. Sometimes it helps to blow out this area with compressed air.

Next look for frost on the back wall of the freezer section. If there is frost you have a defrost system problem. Let me know what you find.

Speakers need cleaning

You should not open them at all. No need for that. Just remove front cover, gently clean the parts beneath it with magic cloth and make sure not to press membrane. All that can be inside the box is some harmless dust and that can be vacuumed out trough the bass aperture but make sure to put vacuum cleaner on lowest suction. If covers are very dirty and made of plastic or metal you can wash them manually with dish detergent in warm water.
