Question about Brother HL 5250DN Laser Printer
Try these - is paper dry?
Are you using good quality (80 gsm minimum) paper?
Are the fuser rollers (open back of printer, pull down inner paper guide using projecting lugs) in good shape?
Is there any paper debris in the paper path either before the laser unit or on the final path (look carefully at the little paper separator fingers) that is impeding the paper run at one side?
Does the bypass tray give good or bad results? - if good, look for paper debris in the initial feed path.
Are any flexible plastic guides pulled out of shape to face back up the paper path - often caused by pulling a misfeed out backwards?
I find that paper scraps in the initial feed path can be impossible to see, so I have a piece of laminated paper to push through the feed path. It often finds bits I couldn't see.
