Thank you for advising that clock does not need oiling but needs testing. How can this be done and does the clock have to be removed, if so, how?

Clocki does not need oiling, but it has a control assembly that may be faulty and must be tested.

New Vulcan Monterey ranges have electronics control, in that case that is the problem.

If instead you have an older model, with analog timer, then the timer mechanism may be jammed with grease.
In this case it does not need to be oiled, but instead to be removed from range and soaked in grase, then you can oil it back.

If it need testing that is done using a Multimeter to identify faulty components.

It will be useful if you can tell me your range model, or select from Vulcan website here.

Make sure there is power to the timer. Should be a fuse somewhere.

The digital clock on my beko dv555 cooker isnt comin on and as my cooker was on timer now my main oven doesnt work either but my grill and hobs do

Try turning off the power for 3 minutes to try and reset the clock module. If this does not work it will need the clock replaced or a clock by pass done. A good electrician can do this.

For some reason my cooker keeps switching itself off, unless the timer is set to 12:01 it does this. It used to go off when the timer counted down to 8 mins, but this varies, and now it has a mind of its...

It sounds like you are setting a cooking time instead of setting the time of day. The oven wont work until a time of day is set. press the centre button (4x)until a red light flashes in the bottom right corner of the clock if you miss it keep pressing until you cycle through to the rh corner(note clock symbal) press + or - until you get to the right time leave for 12 secs then time locks in and your oven will work. the other flashing lites top left= cooking time bottom left =end time top right =timer function with no oven control. If this does not solve it the timer is faulty and requires replacing. good luck.

The timer has gone on the cooker and I can't use the oven or the grill

Open and check for traces of dirt in the system due to insects. Clean the printed circuit board and check if the timer works. If not you will need to install a new one for using the timer. Hope the model uses the electronic type. If manual type try to clean and reset the clock action as a last resort. It might work with a good oiling, dirt cleaning using a good cleaner like WD40. hope you try this out. Good day

My90 duel fuel range master cooker : The two fan ovens and the clock have stopped working but the grill and all hobs are fine !! any solution??

the ovens work through the clock auto contacts if the clock not working then the ovens wont. may need a new clock or you can bypass the timer relay contacts if your clever. one of the oven elements may have blown to earth this is the main reason for a clock failing

Cooker clock requires resetting

You need to press 2 or more of the timer/clock buttons in seqeunce to cancel the auto setting.
The sequence of buttons varies according to the make of cooker, so just keep pressing the buttons until you hit the correct sequence.
Hope this helps.

Electric oven & grill not working no digital clock display

If there is a display on the clock and you cannot reset it to manual, then the oven will not work, if you cannot reset then you will probably need a new timer fitting.
They can be bypassed, but not recommended unless you know what you are doing..
If there is no display at all , then check to make sure you have supply to oven
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Rangemaster 110

Hope this helps with your dual fuel version 3 weeks on and working perfectly! Rangemaster 110. Ovens not lighting due to faulty auto/clock. FIXED! Our clock /timer kept flashing and would not reset
Someone, somewhere on the internet had the solution to my problem but I can't find the link again to thank them! If you don't mind losing the clock/timer auto function this is for you and it's free! Just takes a bit of time.
Basically you need to lift/open up the LH &RH hobs to get at the wires behind the clock. You should see 2 blue(neutral) wires coming directly from the back of the clock. Pull them out and connect together - should be easy to click them together. Then the ovens will light - but you will lose the auto/clock/timer functions. We only used the timer so not a big issue. We didn't take the control panel off but we did take ages to unscrew the hobs etc Probably took us about 2 hours going back to instruction manual we found on internet and trying to work it out but I think we've saved a lot in not replacing the unit with the usual call out charges. We made sure electrical supply was switched off and just took our time. Really chuffed!

This should allow you to see the instruction manual for the 110. There was another one somewhere showing a diagram of how to link the 2 blue wires at the back of the clock but I can't find it again! By the way our cooker is 10 years old so maybe different from newer models. We didn't have to take of the front control panel we accessed everything by lifting up the hobs to get behind the clock/timer.

Hope this helps! Ovens still working just got to go and buy a wee timer.

I had the same problem, we checked all the wires inside and all ok, so phoned stoves and they said that the it sounds like the timer as this is the first port

Replaced the timer and cooker is now working fine - only thing to remember when ordering the timer - my cooker is green and now has a red light instead of green

Hope this helps
