Connect your Motorola phone to a computer using a USB cable.
Drivers for the phone will be automatically installed when the phone is
connected. A notification message should appear in the lower-right
corner of your computer screen when the installation is completed.
Click "Start" and select "My Computer" from the menu. Double-click the Samsung's icon to open its folder on the computer.
Select and open a folder on your computer in which to save the picture.
Select a picture from your phone's open folder to transfer
to your computer. Drag the picture to the folder where it is going to be
saved. Continue to drag and drop pictures in the folder until the last
picture is transferred.
Exit the phone's folder on the computer and disconnect the Motorola phone from the computer.
You need Motorola Mobile Phone USB Drivers (for Windows) and this USB Driver is used for connecting your Motorola Mobile Phone to a Windows computer via a USB cable in order to charge your phone or to access the data on your phone. To download the driver from the Motorola web page click here.
Or for IDEN phones which you have, you can download required software from the site by clicking here.
Well, ok first-of-all check if u have installed all the drivers for your motorola phone. They should have been included in the pc-suite disk that u must have got with ur phone. Drivers tell the computer or software on how to use and communicate with the device.Without that u wont b able to connect ur device with the computer. Secondly, check the "Device manager" in the control panel in windows and see if the correct drivers have been installed and there is no "?" icon there. "?" icon means that either the device is not working or the drivers have not been properly installed. You might also have to enable the option "Show hidden devices".This option can b enabled from the "view" tab inside the device manager. In case "?" icon is there than double click the "?" device and an window would open showing the details of the device.Just insert the phone cd and under the "driver" tab cick "update driver" and just folow the instructions that follows. Thirdly, if all this does'nt work than check from the manufacturer's site if an update for ur phone's driver(that supports vista) is available or not. Also, get the latest motorola PC-SUITE that supports vista as well. You can also see if any "FIRMWARE" update is available for ur phone."FIRMWARE" adds more functionality to the phone and they r provided from time to time by the respective manufacturers. You can check the motorola site for all these details. Fourthly, check if ur network operator provide "internet connectivity service" or not.Talk to the customer care executive and if the answer is "yes" than ask him to provide u with the internet settings. These settings r usually sent to the mobile and than they r saved there itself. Note: that all network operators such as vodaphone, idea etc dont provide internet service everwhere so check with ur operator wheather these services r provided or not. I hope one of these points should solve ur problem.
this is a repost to the problems related to yours. after a relentless surfing online, i've found the solution.
EUREKA got the solution to my own problems! through browsing on the
forums in here and experimenting on the softwares. we had the same
problem and YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY A SINGLE DIME! disappointingly,
motorola didn't really included any disk with the phone so we can use
it when we want to connect our phones to the pc. Not a very
consumer-friendly move they have there!
download the MOTO RAZR V3 usb driver software (OR YOUR SPECIFIC MOBILE PHONE MODEL) from nodevice.com. mine is from this link: http://www.nodevice.com/driver/MOTO_RAZR_V3/get39383.html
download your MPT or mobile phone tools software online, search through
yahoo and google in quotes. i'm sorry if i haven't remember which site
was it from.
plug in your phone through the usb cable (any brand
of cable, no need to buy the motorola a/b usb cable). the PC will pop
the message "found new hardware" you browse the folder where you have
saved your usb driver software you've just downloaded. then click next.
afterwhich, as the PC have recognized the device. open
your MPT software that you should have also installed on your PC after
downloading them. the software will react to configure it to your
device, if this part fails, click on (on the phone model thingy that
should appear on your computer screen) MENU>SETUP>NEW PHONE then
follow the instructions, it should automatically initialize your phone.
try zedge.net they have cool and free downloads there too! enjoy! please feel free to add me up or send me a msg/comment in this one so we can help each other out.
