THERE MAYBE A DEFECTIVE PART IN THE KB, I WOULD TRY A DIFFERENT WIRELESS KEYBOARD, ALSO THE SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE OR BOTH.

THE SOFTWARE YOU ARE INSTALLING MAYBE CORRUPTED OR THE PROGRAM INSTALLED ON THE DISK HAS A VIRUS OR WHEN COPIED THE FILE DIDN'T GET A FULL COPY OF THE PROGRAM, IT MAYBE MISSING THE PEACES THAT MAKE IT OPERATE RIGHT.

My laptop core i3 works very slowly even when i open any program it open very late but it close its self

first - you described error, that is good, what is bad: what computer and what operating system? telepathy do not work that hot as it is advertised in hollywood movies...

will give you just bit of generic advice, i assume your operating system is windows of any flavour.

1. update your operating system and reboot as requested
2. update your antivirus and run it at full scan
3. switch off computer and leave it for 20sec.
4. start computer in safe mode with network connection (tap continuously f8 about every 2sec during computer startup, then select safe mode with network
5. this will load os only with basic drivers, run your antivirus scan again - full scan
6. go to https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download and download free version of the software and install it (do not install junk adverts or anything else what comes with it - just softgware) - sometime ccleaner will not install in safe mode, remember where you download it, reboot computer, install ccleaner, follow step 3 and 4
7. run ccleaner in safe mode and remove all junk from your computer
8. go to "tools" in ccleaner and uninstall all software which you did not used in last year, including all toolbars, ebays, facebook and similar cr@p.
9. in "tools" select "startup" - disable everything what is there - especially toolbars and all your "beloved" skype, facebook and whatever else you rubbish your computer with (you computer and turning can use it still - but it will not automatically load on startup - clogging your computer and frustrating the system)
10. still in ccleaner select "registry", remove tick from line "unused file extensions" and run "scan for issues" - press "fix selected issues" after run and save first load when requested, run scan again, but do not save more results, repeat that till you will have "no issues were found".
11. close ccleaner
12. reboot your computer and enjoy it

never, ever install any toolbars,
never ever allow any programs not necessary to run computer to run on start-up!

hope this little article will help you speed up your machine, if any questions - ask, do not forget to vote...

1st run disk cleanup. Then compress you C-drive this will compress all your file freeing up space. Then download CCleaner and run that. Finally, run disk defrag. But you should also erase stuff you do not need.

My dvd-ram doesnt read original dvd, why?what can i do i have to do to makeit work?when i insert the original dvd it doesnt appear on pc.thank you

Hi lorena,

Here is what I suggest you try.

  • Download and install CCleaner (free) from Piriform- http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
    • Run the cleaner to remove old un-needed temp files

    • Select the StartUp tab and look for any programs that you know you installed but no longer use or need, and disable them. Caution, do not disable any system files unless you absolutely know what they do and that you do not need them.

    • Run the Registry cleaner, when asked if you want to backup the registry, select YES, and save to a file you will remember just in case. I have used this program hundreds of time on many different system and it has never caused a problem, but you want to be safe, backup the Registry.

    • If asked about a particular file that it wants to clean, select "yes to all"

    • Reboot

If this does not resolve your problem, try the following

If VLC will not play a CD/DVD, try this,

    • Use the Device Manager and uninstall the burners drivers

    • Run the Registry cleaner in CCleaner again, this time in Windows Safe Mode. Remember to backup the Registry

    • Reboot, Windows should reinstall the DVD burner

If you take all these step and you still can not play a CD/DVD, chances are your CD/DVD componet needs to be replaced. Good Luck,

    • If this helps resolve your issue, would you please rate the solution.

Hi, while starting my pc a message displayed that cannot find the script file c/windows/system 32/rahul's virus protection vbe

Let it be a lesson how not to run computer without protection, your computer is infected with rahul malware/virus...

Please follow this advice:

1. switch computer off
2. boot computer in safe mode (tapping f8 during boot up will get you there) as an administrator with network connection
3. go to this site and run they free online scanner:

http://www.eset.com/online-scanner

4. still in safe mode download and install ccleaner
5. run ccleaner, as last run registry ccleaner
6. reboot computer as "normal"
7. do yourself a favour and buy nod32 antivirus, install it and allow it to protect you...
8. download from Microsoft they free Malicious Software Removal Tool and run it as well

If above did not remove all traces of rahul, please follow that advice for manual removal:

1. click on any folder on the desktop
2. select any folder and click "tools" or "properties", you did not stated which windows you run, cannot provide exact instructions
3. select "folder options"
4 select "view"
5. select "hidden files and folders"
6. tick "show hidden files and folders"
7. remove tick from "hide extensions of known file types"
8. remove tick from "hide protected operating system files"
9. search for any file with "*rahul*.*" in title (that includes file mentioned by you in the problem question)
10. delete these files, if files "refuse" deletion, click on they properties, one by one, unselect tick from "read only", click "apply" and then delete
11. remove file "autorun.inf"
12. re-boot with full shut down in safe mode (step 1 and 2 of first part) and run ccleaner again including as last registry ccleaner

Hope this will solve your problem, and buy this antivirus... If problem still persist, do not hesitate to call me back on this thread, if succesfull please leave note.

Radeon X800 XL AGP Card Installation Error

You should do a deep uninstall of all of the ati drivers present in your system... here are the instructions.

The "deep uninstall" starts by first uninstalling all ati drivers and programs present in the affected computer computer, remember to remove al ati related programs from control panel's add remove utility, including the whole multimedia center. And finally reinstalling the new drivers.

You should have downloaded the most recent catalyst drivers from ati.

Now proceed with the "deep uninstall" following this directions, taken from somewhere on the internet, thanks to the one who wrote them...

1. Go into the Control Panel and under the ADD/REMOVE SOFTWARE icon uninstall the ATI Multimedia software and/or the ATI DVD software.
2. Uninstall the ATI drivers also found in the Add/Remove section. Once removed, it will prompt you to reboot....do so.
3. When returning to windows, the NEW HARDWARE FOUND wizard will come up and will tell you that it has found a new VGA card and will prompt you for drivers. Hit CANCEL!
4. Now, go to START - SEARCH - FOR FILES OR FOLDERS and do a search for all files and folders using the filename ati*.*
This search will normally give you 3 to 4 files found in your c:/windows directory and subdirectories (including the Windows/System directory). Select these files and erase them. Now go to your Recycle Bin and Empty your bin.

5. Next...time to go to your Registry. Go to START -- RUN -- regedit
Here go to key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -- SYSTEM -- ControlSet001 -- Control -- Video . Here there should be 4 entries. 3 of them are default Windows XP entries and the 4th one is put in by the ATI drivers. Expand each one by one until you see ATI entries. Once found, erase the entire key.
Now repeat the same step above for the ControlSet002 key and the CurrentControlSet Key. Normally, whenever you erase a key in the ControlSet001, XP automatically deletes it in the CurrentControlSet section too. So if the ATI key is not found in the CurrentControlSet section, don't worry about it.
Once all keys are deleted, proceed to the next step.

6. While still in the registry, go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -- SOFTWARE section. Here you should find an ATI Technologies key. Select it and delete it. In that same section, look for an Installed Options key. Expand it and there you should find another ATI Technologies key. Select it and erase it.
7. Still in the registry, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -- Software and there you should find another ATI technologies key. Select it and erase it. Once all this is done, close the registry. the registry is now clean. Though you might want to even run a registry cleaner, like the one included in the freeware program CCLEANER, it's very good, can be undone and it's safe enough to use it almost blindly.
8. Close all windows and reboot.
9. When in windows after the reboot the NEW HARDWARE FOUND WIZARD will pop up again. Cancel that. Now find the new ATI drivers that you have downloaded and extracted and run the SETUP file. Once complete, reboot and you are DONE!

Windows pops up everytime i right click a folder or file!

Hi, It would seem that at one time Symantec AntiVirus was installed in your PC. Part of its protection design is to ingrain itself within the shell of windows explorer. There is a possibility that the program was forcibly removed by folder delete and not through the usual uninstall as you posted. Remnants of the program are still present/active and were not uninstalled. A couple of things you can try: 1. Install Symantec AntiVirus again and then uninstall using the auto/complete option; 2. Install Norton Utilities and run WinDoctor, after scanning, click "Repair All"; 3. Install WinOptimizer and and run using User Defined option, check everything and start, delete erroneous entries; 4. go to Start, Run, type "msconfig" without the quotes, in the Startup tab, uncheck all references to Norton or Symantec; 5. go to Start, Run, type "regedit" without the quotes, in the Registry Editor press Ctrl + F, type "Symantec" in the Find what, click on Find Next, delete all instances. This is of course assuming that you do not have any other Norton/Symantec programs essential to your PC and that you have taken the usual precautions of registry backup, system restore point. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things are or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.
