For front loaders in general. Take the power plug off the wall. Be prepared for a lot of water before attempting the following. It doesn't spin because the unit is not draining water. It will not spin with water in it - must drain first. Check drain hose for kink, check exit pipe for blockage. Remove the front access panel, bottom front, screws beneath; if you find a pipe there with a cap -this is for draining water. Could be your "coin trap assembly" is blocked, therefore not allowing all the water to pump out. Remove the clamp (or unscrew) that connects the trap assembly to the pump and clean it out.
If helped pl say so.

How to respond to "Clean Lint filter" light.

had similar trouble and it can start a FIRE. Try cleaning the vent outside. The shutter doors can be hindered by lint and critters. If cleaning the vent door is not enough, take vent pipes apart and clean them. This should be smooth aluminum pipe not, the corrugated plastic etc.. If this does not cure it, the blower may be clogged or dead inside your machine.

How do I do a hard reset of frigidaire dryer GLEQ2152ES1

Unplug it overnight. That will definitely reset it. Did you remove the cover where e the lint filter goes in. It is usually held in by two screws from the inside. There should be two wires leading to two metal strip on that cover. Make sure they are clean. You can also reach down into the lint trap to remove any more lint.

Burning smell however, motor runs fine, belt looks good, element heats up, vent is clean. i'm at a lose

Dryers collect lint.
Some, like the one I fixed last month, had a whole wastebasket full of lint inside it where you could not get it out without tearing the whole dryer apart.
I\'m suspecting either lint or some other foreign object is burning.
For your safety, please take it completely apart, or get someone else who knows what they are doing to do so, before you have a dryer fire.
( P.S. The last dryer I just fixed had a worn out felt on the drum, allowing the blower fan to suck lint past the screen and fill the inside of the dryer with that lint.)
Be blessed.

How to clean

It might depend on whether you wish to clean it inside or outside your house.
Because of the possibility of a big cloud of dust and lint, inside your house you may wish to use a vacuum cleaner with a wand.
You can take all the parts apart that you feel you can put back together, but the sad news is, if you don't take it pretty much all apart, you may not get most of the lint.
(Most of the lint is in places requiring a major "taking apart" ).
The good news is, you would only need a few tools, as most come apart easily with only a few screws.
(Like maybe less than 20)
Be blessed in your efforts.

I have a kenmore 76712. clothes only gets warm but does not dry even after 3 cycles. I have looked in the back cabinet and i see the ignition working and lighting up. But it goes off after about 5-8 secs...

The unit must be taken apart to clean. Also the duct work (vent tube) will have to come completely apart for those tubes will be solid full of lint as well. That is why the dryer is not drying your clothes. I guarantee you will find a handfull of lint for every foot of tubing you have. OInce cleaned the dryer will operate like new again

Is there supposed to be a hole on the side of my dryer

Well, though it be simple, you might clean the lint filter everytime you use it. Over time a dryer even with lint filter cleaned will still collect small amounts of lint inside it. You shouldn't worry much but you could call the maytag man to come and take apart the dryer and clean the inside. <;O)

I opened dryer and found burned lint. There was about a half inch of material around the heating elements that had also started to burn.

clean the lint out and make sure the coil is undamaged. dryers need to be taken apart and lint cleaned out once in a while. also clean the exhaust line out real good as too much lint can increase the back pressure, not letting all the lint out of the unit.
