The computer stays on the intro screen with a cursor circling like its loading. that's been doing this for the last 20 min.please help

when it is not loading, the problem is with the operating system or may be the hard disk.install the new operating system software or repair the old one.if it loads, there is no problem with hard disk.if the hard disk does not allow you to install os then check with your hard disk.

You already have the documents folder on your hard disk. Can't understand what's your problem. You said that there is no space on your disk(hard disk) so your are unable to load profile and you have the profiles in documents folders and want to move to hard disk but it is already in your hard disk. Every folder on your computer is in the hard disk.

My Dell Dimension 2400 refuses to load Windows XP

Hi,
What happens?Does it hang on the loading page or does it restart itself before loading?
If it hangs on the loading page, press CTRL,ALT and DEL.This boots the system.
If it restarts itself, remove the hard disk and re-fix it again.Problem solved?
Remove the CMOS battery and the hard disk and re-fix them again.Problem solved?
If not,you may have to repair your operating system.
This how you do it:-
  • Remove your hard disk and enslave[fix it as a secondary drive] it on another machine with a good operating system.
  • Start the machine.Accept to run unnix[using two drives]
  • The machine will automatically detect your hard disk's failure on the operating system and repair the damaged files.
  • On completion and after Windows opens, turn off the machine and remove your hard disk.
  • Fix the hard disk now on your machine and start it.
Hope this helps.Thanks!

I tried to install windows xp on sata hard disk but it couldn't find any hard disk in installation.in bios i can see the hard drisk that it shows RAID hard disk 60gb.my msi model is ms-7113 ver 1.what...

get to BIOs ..locate the hard disk ..and change the setting from the ACHI ..to sata like ide..or compatible ..Or ..use use a usb ..or a floppy ..to enter a raid driver for it ..when you install it ..If you pay attention ..when you run the installation of the xp ..Just after starting to load files ..(soon after press any key to boot from cd ) ..it says to press f 6 for to load 3rd party driver ..press it ..and use some kinda memory device ..that will be see..and load teh driver ..and will work )
Or ..just disable the sata raid ..for the hard disk ..and it will be seen after that when you load the operation system ..If it is a newish model ..it will not be affected ..only old models feel the difference in speed between the modes..

It could be possible if the hard drive isnt too far gone, are you able to use it at all? have you tried to hook it up to a different laptop and see if you can access it from that? You'll probably be better off getting a list of anything that you can re-download and storing the irreplaceable stuff such as sensitive documents onto a disk. If you can do this then just reformat the hard disk and get it over with. You stand to be in for quite a headache trying to copy all your files off your hard disk and making sure all the files arent corrupted. This stands especially true if your hard disk has malware or a virus.

"Error loading operating system" message

This error means the operating system on the hard disk couldn't load due to possible faulty hard drive or disk controller. The fault could also mean the hard drive needs reseating to make proper connection. Reseat the hard drive and if you still get this error, then you need to determine if the disk controller is faulty.
To do this, remove the hard drive and connect it to an USB hard drive adapter and plug it into a working computer's USB port. If this computer see this hard drive as an external drive and you can also see the contents of the drive, then the hard drive is OK and the fault is a faulty disk controller. If the computer cannot detect the hard drive then the hard drive is faulty.
Then get a new hard drive insert it into youe laptop and install Windows to get your laptop operatioal.
