My camera's digital display is

My camera's digital display is black/blank when I turn it on. Any photos taken in this mode are also played back blank. Sometimes the screen will display "access error or denied". Other times, if I don't use the camera for a long time, my camera might turn on normally and take normal photos, but after a few minutes, it will return to the blank screen. I'm at whit's end.

-   I have the same problem with a Sony Cyber shot. It works perfectly on all but one computer where clicking on the camera drive (f:/) results in an Acess Denied msg from windows XP -   Guest
