My pd f100 disc pioneer is blinking and the first 25 disc compartment was sticking...i opened and found the main loading system was in the way of the 25 disc compartment...the compartment was rubbing on the loading system...i am trying to back up my loading system without breaking to re start the process and stop blinking...if anyone can help let me know...marc---- yours is probably starting to rub....also,the sping under the compartment needs crazy glue so it doesn't shift....that is another sticking factor i found on mine also.the spring wants to move underneath... open your panel and make sure not to touch any circuit boards...some of them --you have to be grounded or you'll fry it....

Pioneer pd-f1039 wont power up quit working plug into wall hear click press power nothing comes on? no cd's are in unit spotless clean inside dosent smell electrical

I had the same problem (mine had been connected to a second unit). When I left it plugged in for awhile it started clicking, at that piont I disconnected it from its twin and ran used the remote to fully turn it on, it was sort of half on and half off at that point. Since then it has worked OK.

I suspect my problem was due to using a mono rather than stereo cable for the interconnect between the two of them.

I suggest you plug it in and leave it along, if I'm right it will start clicking ater a time and then you can turn it on and playh a CD then it should be OK.

The last 3 discs might be CD-RW which can be rewritten, but not all cd players will be able to read them. Just go to the store and buy some CD-R disks and re-burn the last 3 disks. That should solve your problem.

Need drawer belt for Yamaha CDC-805 CD changer - the one needed that opens and closes the changer's door - not sure where to get it or the part number. I thought I ordered the right one and got the 'drive'...

Any decent repair shop should have a large supply of replacement belts. The Part number isn't necessary. Just take the old one in and get a new one just 2mm smaller than the original. Some repair shops won;t sell them because they don't want you repairing your own property but a decent shop should sell you one.

I have a Pioneer PDM450. It will scan each of the

A dirty lens on the laser of the CD player or 6 dirty discs. Since it is not likely 6 dirty discs, you have nothing to loose by taking the screws off the back and sides to remove the top cover and try to find the lens. Get a can of "compressed air" and spray it all over the inside of the unit to romove dust bunnies as you work. Take digital photos as you go so you remember how to put it back together.

Good luck, have fun and look at all the neat gears and little motors this thing uses to open the door, close the door, spin the disc, ...

Its really amazing how many parts are in these things for the price they charge these days.

Alternatively, you can bring it in to a local electronics repair shop but it will likely cost you as much as a new unit.

Pioneer 12 disc cd changer in car

Try unplugging the unit and then powering it up again, this will make it reset and could release the disc's if not, you could have a lok inside the unit, see if and discs are half loaded.

other than that, send it off to a repair agent
