When with virgin i had suround sound when watching tv but not with sky? engineer from sky said when instaling sky that i would need a optical cable but my sony cd/dvd player dvp-ns400d does not have a outlet. my tv is a sony bravia, please can you help
You will need a DVD player with an optical output, as the sky engineer said. A Co-axial S/PDIF output could also work if your surround sound has that input, however not all units transmit surround encoded sound through the Co-Axial output. Only option really is to upgrade if that doesn't work
