Try running the second amp by itself, there's a variety of things that could be the problem. If the second amp runs well by itself you might have a problem with you line outs from the first amp. But chances are you're second amp won't run well by itself, this could be because of a bad ground or your amp could be damaged. Another thing is connections to the new stereo, if your rca's aren't connected good you'll get a muffled system, also make sure the remote wire is properly attached to the second amp. If you can't figure it out take it to a professional to have it looked at. hopw this helps you

Everything is hooked up fine. the amp has power but no sound. I opened the amp and nothing looks burnt out.

Try you sub(s) on another amp...if they play off of it then its either your speaker outputs off of the amp or your rcas or wire from your radio are bad.

I have a sony explod stereo and it works fine. Ecept that every once and awhile it shorts out and stops playing for a couple seconds. When this happens all of the stations i had saved and the clock are all...

could be power, could be ground, do you have a factory amplifier aswell as an aftermarket one in your vehicle.. If so if you have the 3 remote wires spliced together to kick on your factory amp you can have problems with this. Basically having more than 1 amp wired in series together can do this... there are many factors to this but first check your ground on the headunit and make sure it's makin a good chasis ground..

No radio signalcar on car radio player

there is a micro switch inside the player than turns off the radio when the cassette is being played, this switch fails and locks out the radio, this defective switch causes the radio to not switch switch back on when the cassette is removed, u do not mention the make model or year so that is about as much as i can give you right now, but in most cases if this is an older car it is best to try find another used radio on EBAY, if it is an aftermarket unit just replace it, the repair cost in most can exceed what the cost of a replacement is.

Cd and radio play white noise

this is caused by static electricity running thru the earth cables of the speakers, try disconnecting the earth cables at the back of the stereo unit, and joining them all together, and re-earth them on the bodywork of the vehicle

HI...CHECK TO SEE IF THE AMP IS GETTING POWER (REM) POWER-----(AMP)POWER--GROUND,, CHECK FUSES BOTH OF THEM--....YOU MAY HAVE DONE THIS ALREADY--CHECK TO SEE IF THE RADIO FUSE IS OK (POWER)..THE DISPLAY CAN STILL WORK FINE BECAUSE THE RADIO HAS 2 FUSES 1 FOR (POWER) AND ONE FOR MEMORY(DISPLAY) HARD TO SAY WITH OUT LOOKING AT IT.... System not playing

Sounds like the output transistors on the amp are blown. Were you slammin when it stopped or how did you find out it stopped working. It could be the sub failed then caused the ap to go which is why you get a little something from the JL.
