Question about Microwave Ovens
First a light, then smoke, then fire comes out of the microwave motor shaft chamber (the hole in the centre under the glass plate) wt...??? what could this mean??
Did you properly orient the exhaust vent and take out any shipping materials under the exhaust vent? Sounds like the exhaust fan itself may be overheating, smoking up the innards of the microwave and then the smoke is escaping though the hole where the carousel is located.
Either that or someone built the shaft of the carousel rotator out of the wrong material and the microwave is actually trying to cook (or arc) that piece, causing a fire.
