Question about Philips SA3025/37 Flash MP3 Player

1 Answer

My Mp3 player is working perfectly except for two problems number one, every time I try to change the song something comes up that tells me to add the certain song to a play list then gives me the option to add or cancel. Ever since I got my MP3 player it has randomly not turned on. No matter what I try, it does not respond in anyway to the computer or the rest button help!!

Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear:

Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

It ll show only walkman and it ll turn off........ its not working...........

Hello,

If your mp3 player shows the walkman, then it means the player is okay. But you need to check the battery if it is fully charged before you turn it on. Try to charge it over a while before turning it on, after doing so, turn it on. It will work.

And if it does not work, connect the mp3 to a computer and try to see the files on it. That way you will be able to tell if the files are not corrupted.

You can format the mp3 player using the computer, then try to re add your songs on the mp3 player and turn it on, this time it will work perfectly fine.

Hope this helped.

Tags On My Mp3's On Device (RD2765) Aren't Working

I simply figured out that sometimes the two types of tag types for an mp3 file aren't the same and it creates a disconnect between the two and in that case neither of the two tags will be correct and the device will read them as tagless files, so to fix it I simply deleted both tags on it so there were no tags at all, then made both tags again, but the second time they were the same so they were both registered by the device, making the tag appear on the device... simple as that :)

Problem when trying to add songs to albums

try removing all of the other info from the listing, except for the album, artist, and title. This is strange, but if you could tell me what brand it is, then it could be something much simpler.
