    sp1 isn't a problem, it's a service pack that's intended to make vista better.

You can go to http://www.microsoft.com and validate/ upgrade your original vista remember to have the product key on hand!

Then use auto-updating for your vista windows update for future windows updates.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Have Vista but not sp1 or later, cannot download office2010. How do I upgrade to sp1

Just go to Control Panel. And then look for an icon that says Windows Update. Click on it and click on check for updates on the left hand side. It will check which updates your system needs, and eventually will also download SP1 for Vista.
Note: You should have internet connection for this. Better if its broadband or high speed and not dial up. If you don't see Windows Update in Control panel, try going to the icon that says System / Security.

Vista SP2

I want to stop you there. You should stick with Windows Vista SP1 because Sp2 has A LOT of program incapability problems (e.g. some games will not work in SP2, but work fine in SP1). Hope I helped - donman92
